A classic of French haute parfumerie from the 1980s

Jean-Charles Brosseau, fresh from his studies at the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris, founded his accessories house in 1955, at the age of 25, and quickly became one of Paris’s most acclaimed designers. In 1981, he launched his first perfume, Ombre Rose, which enjoyed immediate international success and is now considered one of the great classics of French perfumery. In the years that followed, the house expanded its range with further fragrances for men and women, as well as body care products featuring the brand’s iconic scents.
