Le Couvent des Minimes, an ancient story born in the South of France

Le Couvent des Minimes owes its name to the convent of the Order of the Minims in the south of France, which dates back to 1614. This convent was completely surrounded by terraced gardens, where the monks cultivated many species of plants, both for food and for their medicinal properties. It was here that Louis Feuillée, the famous botanist of the French King Louis XIV, lived and studied. Over the years, he was sent on a journey across the five continents in search of new plant species.
Inspired by the discoveries of Louis Feuillée, Le Couvent continues the botanical tradition of the convent, using natural ingredients to process the most precious and rare raw materials.
